. This was a very spontaneous trip I planned with a good friend.
Lucky we both love being spontaneous!

We stayed at the 'Hard Rock Hotel' 🎸
Now, if you are looking for somewhere funky and hip: this is the place.
They have an amazing pool and the rooms are super cosy,
along with live music at their own Hard Rock Cafe.

🌴 DAY 1 After checking in, we set out to roam around the area.
This was the beach in front of our hotel!

🍴 Our first meal!
Menu: Chicken green curry with white rice.

We were really tired the first day,
so we ended up calling it a day and resting at the hotel.

🌴 DAY 2
After a lie in, we went for a dip at the Hard Rock Pool.
Ended up playing water volleyball with other tourists!
+ There I am lying down, enjoying the view.

👍 Birds and Bees Resort
Later in the afternoon, we went to a famous resort.
The jungle-like setting and view of the beach was amazing.
Super pricey, but I can see why people would invest.

Here we are!
This is the centre of the resort, there were bunnies.
Yes... I mean real bunnies jumping around everywhere!

Next, we walked down towards the beach.
The restaurant wasn't open yet, so we ended up walking by the bay.

When it was time,
we made our way to the restaurant.

🍴 The restaurant is called 'Cabbages and Condoms'.
Random name, but I've got to say
the food and atmosphere was spot on.
Loved how the ladies toilets were named after 'Eve'.

We got to see the sunset ✨
This place is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED,
you do have to take a taxi to reach the resort. (Unless you stay here)
But it is definitely worth it!

🌴 DAY 3
The weather was quite drizzly this day,
so we ended up eating at the 'Hard Rock Cafe'.
Menu: (Front) Mac and cheese with chicken and garlic bread.
(Back) I think it is a Caesar salad.
Along with some Asahi.

After getting drenched! We stayed in and went to another restaurant for dinner.

Restaurant and Bar
The music here was perfect.
This is a very popular restaurant
and also somewhere you can't get by foot.
So make sure you get a taxi and know the address!

👍 Ko lan Island
We spent our last few hours at the island.
I'm so bummed that I lost a lot of the photos from this trip... Sorry I couldn't share more, but hope this was a help to you!
