🇸🇬 Singapore

☀️️ Okay Lah!

We were very fortunate on this trip to have our Native

Singaporean friends take us to every hot place, feed us

at 3am and experience the culture like a local.

Once again, so grateful! You know who you are!

.

.

.

🦀 DAY 1

.

.

As soon as I arrived, I got an uber to the hotel,

got changed and headed out to see the crew.

(This is the crew! Some are missing)

That fine looking girl in the red was on her business trip,

she generously let me tag along with her :)

.

.

Now by this time it was already around 11:30pm.

Our friends took us to eat some Traditional Singaporean food🍴

(It's never too late for a snack!)

Menu: I believe it is called 'Bak kuh teh' 'Bak kuh teh' is a pork rib dish cooked in broth.

.

.

After a short stroll

and a few photos, we called it a night!

.

.

.

.

🦀 DAY 2

Due to my friend having to attend a conference,

me and another friend ended up spending the day together!

.

.

🍴For breakfast, we went to the restaurant 'Toast Box' next to our hotel

and got to try Singapore's famous 'Kaya toast'.

When I first saw this, I initially thought that the eggs were boiled

and the toast was supposed to be eaten separately.

LUCKILY, my friend knew what to do and cracked the eggs in the bowl,

mixed it with some brown sauce and dipped her toast in it.

Voila! Simple yet very satisfying! MUST TRY!

.

.

.

👍 Singapore Zoo

I love my zoos and aquariums so I was very excited!

.

.

There are different courses within the zoo,

so depending on how much time you have, you can pick.

We took the Singapore zoo course, not the safari.

Here we go!

The pandas were the highlight! So fluffy!

.

.

Just a WARNING of the next photo...

For those of you who don't like creatures that crawl on their bellies.

.

.

.

.

🐍

That's it!

.

.

.

.

After walking around...

we made our way towards the free boat ride.

What I really enjoyed about Singapore was the nature, it was a great feeling to see green everywhere!

.

. For lunch, we kept to the zoo restaurant 🍴

Menu: Red bean / Custard Panda Bun

Make sure you try one when you go!

Visit their website below for more information.

.

.

Then, we headed back to the hotel,

rested for a few hours, and met our friends for dinner.

.

.

.

🍴Mellben Seafood

Behold their famous Chilli crab!!!! 🦀

We were a group of 7, so the locals decided to order 5 different dishes of crab!

Menu: Chilli crab, Creamy butter crab (Can't remember the names!!),

Pork ribs and some vegetables, along with their local beer.

.

.

Twas so good...

You can check out their menu by clicking below!

.

.

With our happy-filled stomachs

we decided to take a walk.

.

.

.

👍 Gardens by the bay

"'Gardens by the bay' is a nature park

spanning 101 hectares of reclaimed land in central Singapore."

I found Aslan 🦁

.

. Now, time for loads of selfies!

(Dramatic me and strangely calm unni!) This is a great place to come for a stroll at night.

Definitely RECOMMEND.

.

.

The was the beginning of our night...

.

.

👍 1-Altitude

"Cafe, bar & gallery split over 3 levels,

with rooftop area offering 360-degree view of cityscape"

The view was AMAZING!

But sadly due to weather problems

the rooftop shut almost 10 minutes after we sat down!

.

.

Nonetheless, we made the most of our table downstairs.

They played some old school music! Ha-Ha

Bringing back the old memories 📀

Had way too much fun in one day...

.

.

There are so many rooftop bars in Singapore,

but this one is definitely worth visiting.

Check out their website for photos and prices.

.

.

.

Us by the end of the night!

Nope...still not the end!

.

.

Past-midnight McDonald's 🍔

NOT Surprisingly, I was in bed until 5pm the next day...

.

.

.

.

🦀 DAY 3

So, after my ever-so-long lie in, naturally we went to go get some food.

.

.

.

🍴Hawker Centre

"a.k.a cooked food centre is an open-air complex."

There are many Hawker centres, ours was called the

'Makansutra Gluttons Bay.'

So much to choose from.

.

.

Menu: Green Curry with Rice, Tom Yum soup

and I believe it to be Fried Carrot Cake (which doesn't actually

contain any carrots).

.

.

To digest, we took a stroll towards the bridge.

Here was the view 📸

This was where people wrote messages or their wishes

and tied them to the ends of the lamp.

.

.

The view from the bridge!

This was our only girls day out!

Although it started in the evening... I enjoyed it so much: )

.

.

.

.

🦀 DAY 4

Guess what's happening today?!

.

.

🌏 Universal Studios Singapore

The theme park is located within

Resorts World Sentosa on the Sentosa Island 🌴

To save time,

we paid a little extra for express tickets!

They were really, really worth it!

.

.

After scanning our tickets, we were in 🎢

So many cute stores!

.

.

My favourite of course was the minions store!

Before getting too excited and spending all my money...

We decided to go on as many rides as we could!

.

.

The park is divided by the Universal Studio themes, which are: "Hollywood, New York, Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt,

Lost World, Far Far Away & Madagascar."

My personal favourite was Sci-Fi City 🤖

Twas so...hot...

.

.

I reckon in around 2 hours

we went on more than 60% of the rides.

Finally, lunch time!

.

.

🍴Mel's Drive-in

Located in Hollywood, pretty near the entrance.

Must try the milkshake 🥤🥛

.

.

After feeling energised,

we roamed around the theme park.

Sesame Street Parade!

.

.

Sesame Street bus!

And of course, the fluffy dolls 👀

.

.

CANDY STORE!

Had to buy a tub of Reese's 🍫

.

.

.

That was the end of our day at USS!

One final photo in front of the globe 📷

To check the ticket prices and offers at USS

visit their website below!

.

.

.

.

For dinner, we hit the

🍴Hard Rock Cafe

It was our last meal with our friend

who had to go back to Korea that evening 😭

.

.

Wish she could have spent the last night with us...

but, that saves us something to do next time!

(Last photo 📸)

.

.

.

.

👍 Zouk out 2016

"An annual dance music festival

and Asia's only sunrise beach festival."

Fav photo of the night!

To see more photos of the festival

check out their Facebook page.

.

.

.

.

🦀 DAY 5

With only a few hours sleep, the two zombies headed

to the airport for their flight back to Seoul.

.

.

🍴 Our last meal in Singapore!

Menu: Soup...hot...spicy soup with noodles...that is all I remember...

.

.

.

.

So that is the end of our 5 day trip.

As you can see, you can do a lot in 5 days!

I was quite bummed that I didn't manage to visit

the galleries or gardens.

But I know that is something I can do next time ✌️️

.

.

.

.

Thank you for reading guys!

Hope you enjoy your time in Singapore.

Till then 👊
